CSR Scientific Training Welcomes Ada, the World’s Most Advanced Humanoid Robot, to Inspire the Next Generation of STEM Apprentices

CSR Scientific Training has partnered with Engineered Arts to bring Ameca, the world’s most advanced human-shaped robot, into its Ofsted rated Outstanding apprenticeship programmes giving learners a front-row seat to the future of STEM innovation.
Ameca, described as the most lifelike humanoid robot ever created, will be integrated into CSR’s training offer to support the development of future scientists, engineers, and digital pioneers.
CSR have renamed her Ada, after Ada Lovelace, an English mathematician and writer chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage’s proposed mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine. With human-like facial expressions, cloud-connected systems, and modular design, Ada is more than a marvel of robotics, it’s a powerful educational tool designed for real-world human-machine interaction.
“This is not just a demonstration of technology, it’s a statement of intent,” said Rob Green, Director of CSR Scientific Training. “Our apprentices deserve access to cutting-edge tools, and Ada gives them the chance to interact with the type of AI that will shape the world they’re training to work in. AI x AB – artificial intelligence meets artificial body – has the potential to transform science, and we want our learners at the forefront of that change.”
Built using Engineered Arts’ advanced Mesmer technology, Ada will support CSR’s ambition to increase uptake and to widen participation in science apprenticeships in England.
Ada will be used across CSR’s science and healthcare programmes, helping learners gain hands-on experience in machine learning, human-computer interaction, and real-time data analysis. Through events, workshops and training content, Ada will also serve as a public-facing ambassador for STEM careers breaking down barriers, sparking curiosity, and challenging perceptions about what science and apprenticeships can look like.
