Gabriel recently completed his Level 3 Laboratory Technician apprenticeship with CSR Scientific Training achieving a fantastic Distinction grade! He is continuing to work with his current employer, Veolia, and has now progressed onto a Level 5 qualification with CSR. Reflecting on his apprenticeship, Gabriel said: “The programme has had a really positive impact on me. It has helped me become more confident and independent, which has supported my personal development. I have gained new knowledge and skills that I use in my role every day, and I feel this will shape my future career in a positive way.”
He highlighted the support he received throughout the programme: “Tarn and Bozena were always there to answer questions, give feedback, and guide me through. Knowing I could email them at any time made a big difference.” Gabriel also spoke about the way the training was delivered and the value of learning through an apprenticeship: “It helped me develop independence, encouraged me to ask more questions, and made a real impact on my job. The apprenticeship route is a much better way of learning than university, because I could apply everything I was learning directly to my role. Being able to see how the skills are used in the workplace made everything more meaningful.”
